Storey has her Craftsman of Photographic Arts from the Professional Photographers of Canada, where she holds accreditations in both Child Study and Environmental Wedding Photography.

November 2008 at the The Wedding Co's Annual Photo Contest: Storey received a First Place Award for the photograph: The Bride and the Cupcakes. The prize was a trip to NYC to have Darcy Miller, Editor of Martha Stewart Weddings, review Storey's portfolio.
