Taking a few days off work during our busy season has its benefits. Not only do I get to spend precious time with my daughters, but I get to see them in action. This summer I took my oldest daughter to compete in a sailing regatta in Kingston, Ontario. Not only is it a beautiful town (and home to my alma mater), but it boasts the largest fresh water sailing regatta for youth in the country.
Four days of racing for the sailors, four days of chaperoning for me. Time to clear my head watching the boats compete in the harbor. I didn't pick up the camera that much, just enough to document my baby and her adventures. Sometimes a change is as good as a rest.
