Purpose

I photograph LOVE for a living. I have been a passionate lens queen for 20 years and I record the lives of Toronto's loveliest families. Whether its a wedding, the birth of a child or the ever growing stages of a family, I will be there for you and your family to record your amazing and precious epic moments.

I believe in the beauty and joy of LOVE and I am constantly evolving my creative practices to bring you the very best of me.

Motherhood

I have two incredible daughters, whose lives I have photographed from their earliest days. They are the ultimate joy in my life and I credit them for inspiring me to become a people photographer.

Their beaming smiles and gracious hearts light up my world. I cherish my photos of them more than anything else I own. These photos are getting more and more valuable to me as time goes by.

Origins

I grew up between Toronto and Los Angeles, and I still have that California dreamer mindset that makes everything seem possible and nothing seem too hard.

Yet I credit my dedicated work ethic to my Canadian roots, which has led to regular referrals from really great planners and families. I am so grateful for their trust in me. My special touch is in capturing joy and happiness and then delivering photographs infused with high standards of professionalism.

Training

I have a Master’s degree in Psychology (Queen's and Waterloo), a nine-year tenure as a management consultant for Accenture, and a Master of Photographic Arts from the Professional Photographers of Canada, I started my business in 2003.

Teaching

I regularly give back to the photographic industry that has been so good to me. I am an internationally qualified photographic judge and a frequent presenter at conferences such as Wedding and Portrait Photographer's International (WPPI) and the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC). I have won numerous print competition awards and appear regularly in local magazines.

Sense of Calm

I have been described by my family and friends as calm, patient and attentive and I believe these traits come in handy every time I photograph people (especially toddlers!). My philosophy is to capture milestones with momentum and grace. Basically, I keep things moving and I keep it light.

My deep expertise gives me the confidence to make beautiful imagery anywhere, anytime of day and under almost any circumstance, while smiling.

Kind Words

"My name is Andy Stein and I am part of the family that owns the 111 year old Henry’s. I have been Chairman of the Board since 1983. We are a very proud Canadian Family business that has transitioned to our 4th generation. This is a rarity in Canadian business and an accomplishment of which I am very proud. We have been a Photo and now Photo, Digital and Video Specialty dealer since the late 1950’s and are now the largest Digital Imaging Retailer in Canada. Although headquartered in Toronto, we have 30 locations between Halifax and Victoria. Most of our locations are in Ontario, with branches in BC, Manitoba and Nova Scotia and now operate in Quebec under the name of Lozeau, in Montreal. From by background, you can see that superb photography is a personal passion. My wife and I collect old Black & White photographs, many that we proudly display in our home.

We hired Storey Wilkins to do the photography at both of our daughters weddings in 2008. Storey has also done marvelous family pictures of our 4 beautiful grandchildren. I can truly say that Storey is a pleasure to deal with and her work is consistently superb. She is most talented and highly recommended by someone who knows a bit about photography."

“Storey, Glen and I wish to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing the essence of our special day. The images exude warmth and true love.”

Marian & Glenn

“Dear Storey, I wanted to thank you so much for everything you did to capture our wedding day so perfectly. The photographs you produced are truly better than anything Patrick and I would have hoped for and will allow us and our families to remember the day with perfect clarity and vivid emotion for years to come. Your entire service from start to finish is truly impeccable. We are so lucky to have found you and are so grateful for the photos, the albums, the CDs - every part of the experience was an absolute pleasure. While the product is perfect the part about working with you that is truly the best is your personality. You were such a treat to be around the day of the wedding, it just made the whole experience of the wedding day that much more special. Thank you again so much for everything you've done - it has truly been an honour working with someone who is such a consummate professional.”

Allie & Patrick

“To quote one of our more hardened guests - a journalist of some age and stature - ‘the photographers were ninjas in black suits, invisible but everywhere and catching everything!’ Highest praise indeed. We could hardly add more except to add our heartfelt thanks.”

Scott & Nigel

“My goodness Storey ... you are such a gift to us. You have so beautifully captured all the most magical times in our life. How did we get so lucky to find you? Thank you just seems so inadequate. Ok, I need to go watch the slideshow for the third time!! I can't wait until Ken gets home so I can show him!! You are so crazy talented it continually shocks me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
