One of my favourite kinds of frames — a quiet exchange between a bride and her mother during the getting-ready part of the day, photographed at the family's private residence in Toronto. Moments like this one are the heart of how I work: candid, unhurried, and built around real connection rather than a posed shot list. Later that morning, the bride's father pulled out the album from his own wedding nearly thirty years earlier — exactly the kind of detail I love catching when there's space in the day to notice it.
The wedding itself was held at The Carlu — a beautifully elegant winter celebration in the heart of downtown Toronto.
I take on a small number of weddings each year alongside my family photography work, and availability fills up well in advance. If you're planning a wedding and this style speaks to you, please get in touch early.
